Our Management Team
The Management Team have been selected based upon their background and experience. All have previously worked With Mike Hunter, CEO and all have over 30 years experience in global consulting and blue chip organisations.
Mike has over 30 years global experience in management, consulting, strategy, sales, marketing, IT, finance and delivering over 35 large scale change and transformation programmes, many incorporating an ERP. He has been a Partner with PA Consulting Group, European CFO at AT&T , and European Head of Consulting at TCS and Cognizant; as well as working for British Aerospace and Apple, and 20 Fortune 500 clients. Mike has a track record of growth for clients, and in building and leading consulting practices globally. His goals have always been in helping clients and companies grow and overcome their biggest challenges; and more recently to fundamentally grow profitable consulting practices.
His specialities include building and growing consulting practices globally; large scale programme management; change management; ERP; performance improvement; stakeholder management, and company turnarounds.
Career accomplishments include:
- 400% revenue growth in 4 years (PA), 88% and 120% year on year revenue growth (TCS), and 96% year on year revenue growth (Cognizant)
- Directly managed a team of 700 people and indirectly 3,500 people.
- Delivered 60% performance improvement in 15 months in a nuclear facility
- Led and delivered 30 ERP programmes, including a 36 and a 130 country roll-out
- Created a $1 billion new revenue stream for global technology company
- Led largest core banking transformation programme in North America.
Mike established K2 Consulting Partners in 2014 to create a new model in consulting that addresses many of the issues he has seen first hand in both consulting firms and clients.

Nigel joins K2 Consulting Partners from Tata Consulting Services having previously worked for Oracle Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Nigel worked at TCS for over 8 years and for the last 3 years was the Managing Partner for Programme Management within Consulting and Services Integration, the specialist consulting group within TCS. His responsibilities included the management of teams of PM consultants in India, UK, Europe, North America and Australia, along with the continuous development of the PM service portfolio and support of business development opportunities.
Nigel spent 12 years at Oracle during which time he undertook various roles in Business Development, Delivery Consulting and, for the last 2 years, was EMEA Operations Director for the Tax and Utilities Global Business Unit. Prior to Oracle, he worked for PwC (and Price Waterhouse earlier) for 11 years undertaking all roles from Consultant to Managing Consultant. During his employment with Price Waterhouse, he also spent 2.5 years seconded to the PW Belgium in the Brussels office.

Nigel Pinches has been active in the Financial Services industry for 30 years .He held senior and executive management positions in IBM including executive responsibility for one of the top 6 global banks. In addition he led the Banking Industry Front Office renewal program in EMEA, Core Banking sales team, Financial Services solutions initiative in UK,SA ,Ireland and NL, introduction of the first strategic partnership in EMEA with TEMENOS and finally the Large Complex deals initiative in FS.
On leaving IBM he spent 4 years as Vice President of TCS Europe responsible for FS solutions including core banking systems.
More recently he has acted as a consultant for several services companies entering the Financial Services market and also focussed on M&A activity.

Philip is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the British Computer Society. He is a Senior Consultant and Leader with more than 30 years of international experience in leadership, developing new business, building performing teams and helping transform client’ organisations through design and implementation of transformation programmes. He brings effective Programme and Project Management together with strong Change Management combined with a deep understanding of technology gained from a career in software development and delivery
